How old do I have to be to rent?

The minimum rental age is 21. There is no young driver fee — drivers 21 and over pay the same daily rate.

What do I need to bring to pickup?

A valid, unexpired driver's license, a major credit or debit card in the renter's name, and proof of insurance if you're declining our damage protection.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash payments for your rental, along with major credit and debit cards. Security deposits, however, must be paid with a credit or debit card in the renter's name — we cannot accept cash for the deposit hold.

Is there a security deposit?

Yes. We authorize a refundable hold on your card at pickup — starting at $175 and up to $1,000 depending on the vehicle class. Deposits must be paid by credit or debit card, even if you're paying for the rental in cash. The hold is released after the car is returned and inspected.

Do I need my own insurance?

You can use your own auto policy or a qualifying credit card, or add our damage protection at $19 per day during booking. We'll verify coverage at pickup.

Is mileage unlimited?

Yes. Mileage is unlimited within the state of Georgia only. All rentals are in-state rentals, and vehicles may not be driven outside of Georgia unless prior written authorization has been provided by SL Luxury Rentals.

How does fuel work?

Return the vehicle with the same fuel level it left with, or add prepaid fuel for a flat $65 and return it at any level.

Can I cancel or change my reservation?

Yes. Cancel or modify free of charge up to 24 hours before pickup. Inside 24 hours, the deposit is non-refundable but can be applied to a future rental within 90 days.

Do you offer airport pickup or delivery?

We're minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson at 4975 Clark Howell Hwy, Suite 2B. All vehicles are picked up and returned at our location — we do not offer pickup or delivery.

Can I add a second driver?

Yes, additional approved drivers are $12 per day. They must be present at pickup with a valid license.

Do you rent to gig and rideshare drivers?

Accepted Answer

Yes — gig drivers are welcome. We rent to drivers on Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Uber Eats, Instacart, Amazon Flex, Spark, Roadie and other delivery or rideshare platforms, with exclusive Gig Driver Discounts and flexible daily or weekly terms. Contact us for current gig driver options.

How do weekly rates work?

Every 7 consecutive rental days are billed at the vehicle's weekly rate, with remaining days billed daily. Our quote applies this automatically.
